For starters thank you for your support and dedication to your craft. When you arrived to my home you gave off such a welcoming and nurturing spirit. After 2 failed attempts of working with other lactation specialists, you gave me so much hope. It didn’t even take a full session for my daughter to latch and here I am almost 2 years breastfeeding! Your patience, dedication, and nurturing aura was felt throughout our home ! I would choose you again and again !

After the birth of my first child, I thought breastfeeding would come natural … like my body would just take over like it did in labor. But breastfeeding, to my surprise, needed to be learned by both mother and baby. There were a couple tricks and tips that could make a world of difference in your breastfeeding journey, which is so sacred. Helping a new mom breastfeed used to be the job of the supporting women around you – the women that would nurture you for the next 40 days postpartum and make sure you and baby were just focusing on bonding and being. But today’s world is a little different. And the women in our lives may not have breastfed nor have any advice to help you do it. Anjelica was recommended to us through a mutual friend. She was kind and supportive. And she came to us when I was recovering from really bad mastitis. I was about 15 days postpartum and super engorged. I was weak from 5 days of shakes, chills, and fevers, not to mention recovering from birth itself. My nipples had holes from where the infection was now healing. You would never know that this was my first experience breastfeeding because I went on to breastfeed my first born for 2 years and 7 months … only stopping because I was pregnant with my second and my body literally stopped producing milk. And now planning on my breastfeeding my second born for as long as my body is willing and able. Anjelica helped me through my most vulnerable time as a mother. She followed up and made sure the latch was deep and felt good. Breastfeeding became so natural and easy to me (after Anjelica’s help) that I can now breastfeed while cooking dinner, getting my first born a snack, and picking up a rag off the floor with my feet … all at the same time. Although probably not recommended. Her services are something I still recommend to new moms today. No one ever told me that breastfeeding is something mom and baby learn together. It’s a rhythm and flow they learn together. And it’s absolutely the best thing you can do. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help, especially Anjelica’s help!

Anjelica is so awesome to have as my breastfeeding [counselor]. She really helped me out when I gave birth to my daughter in November. Anjelica educated me on the importance of breastfeeding my child but more importantly she showed me how to latch my daughter on correctly and showed me different techniques as well. I felt so comfortable with her during her home visits to me and we connected as though we had been friends for years. I love how Anjelica makes herself readily available for any questions I may have or for any last minute house calls I may need. I also appreciate her positive attitude and encouragement during the difficult days when breastfeeding was painful. Because of her I feel that I have become successful at breast feeding and I am so happy that I am able to give my daughter the best milk ever!”

I had such a wonderful experience in working with Anjelica! She was informative and responsive with all of my many questions and concerns regarding placenta encapsulation, to include multiple phone calls, texts and emails. The encapsulation experience itself went so smoothly – I felt completely comfortable welcoming her into our home and she was quick, clean and professional throughout the entire 2-day process. She even volunteered to assist me for well over an hour with breastfeeding, which was so helpful for me and my newborn. She later provided with me with a follow-up to ensure all was going well, which was very reassuring and comforting. I loved working with her and would highly recommend her services!”

Every woman’s breastfeeding journey is unique. . .and mine was just that, a unique journey! Without the support from Anjelica, I can honestly say I wouldn’t have come this far. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise as a lactation [counselor] is so beneficial to all mothers. Whether you’re a new mom, a working mom, or stay-at-home mom, Anjelica can really help you make the best of your breastfeeding journey.”

I actually didn’t have any hesitations with hiring a lactation professional. I was desperate to get my daughter breast milk. After my daughter was born I couldn’t get her to latch and felt extremely devastated. I kept trying but I became so obsessed with it that I couldn’t enjoy my baby. My friend referred me to Anjelica and it has been the best decision I could’ve made for me and my baby. I got her to latch with a nipple shield, but realized that I loved pumping better and Anjelica suggested a way easier way for me to do it. Not only did she help me with getting my baby breast milk but with things like understanding my baby better. [My boyfriend] LOVED Anjelica! Especially because before she came into our lives I was constantly crying and depressed cause I couldn’t give my daughter breast milk but after he noticed how much more happy I was. He learned so much from Anjelica! Especially how to calm a baby and swaddling!
